We participated in our 6th annual PTO sponsored Color Run. We raised money to be kept in the community for new playground equipment, PE equipment, and to support the Frontier Stage and Hill City Swimming Pool. The kids get prizes when they raised certain amounts of money. To get kids involved and excited about the event we had a spirit week. Monday was camo day, Tuesday was dress like your favorite teacher, Wednesday was PJ day, Thursday was Ringneck Spirit day, and Friday was dress like your favorite book or movie. The kids had a blast! Pictures were taken each day of the students who dressed up. The winner of spirit week gets to have movie and popcorn party and the winner was ............................... The students set personal goals, class goals, and a school goal. Their school goal was $20,085. We set it high this year to see how much we could do. The kids loved that the money raised was staying local. We raised ........ The class that raised the most money was the ................... and they raised ......so they got to have a movie/popcorn party. The kids that raised the most money this year was .................................They get to choose a teacher and a friend to eat lunch with one day. I would like to thank the staff, parents, and community members for donating money. This was a huge success this year and I am proud of all the students for working so hard.
